Job summary

Covenant Living Communities & Services, Inc. is seeking a laundry attendant to pick up, sort, launder, and redistribute personal laundry for residents. You will ensure proper labeling, manage outside dry-cleaning, and redistribute items to residents and storage areas.

The role requires English communication, some housekeeping or laundry experience, and the ability to work independently. Benefits and a supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• High school education.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to organize routine schedule and duties.

Responsibilities

• Collect soiled resident clothing from rooms and utility areas for laundering.
• Sort items for washing or dry-cleaning by outside services and label as needed.
• Operate washing machine and dryer and use appropriate temperatures and detergents.
• Check returned laundry and distribute to residents.
• Inform supervisor about worn or unusable items for family notification.
• Launder items such as posies and bedspreads as needed and distribute to residents.
