Job summary

Cascadia Senior Living is seeking a dependable Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and kitchen. The role supports residents by ensuring a clean dining environment and timely service, while following infection-control practices.

The role requires basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, the ability to read and communicate in English, and a current Food Handler’s card. Weekend and holiday availability is often needed.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Must read/write/speak English.
• Maintains current Food Handler’s card.
• Meets health requirements per state regulations.
• Maintains clean, safe environment for residents and staff.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays/overtime.
• CPR/First Aid certification as required by state regulation.

Responsibilities

• Promptly report to work and be reliable.
• Assist in clearing and resetting counters and tables.
• Assist residents to dining area when needed.
• Deliver prompt and courteous service in the dining room.
• Operate and monitor the dishwashing machine; maintain area during shifts.
• Wipe spills and keep kitchen floors dry; sweep/mop as required.
• Clean dishes, utensils, pots and pans by machine or by hand.
• Sort, rinse, and re-stack dirty and clean dishware.
• Attend required trainings and follow sanitation logs.
