Job summary

Covenant Living and CovenantCare Home Health and Hospice is seeking a Dishwasher to operate the dishwashing machine and maintain orderly storage areas in the dining services department. You will deliver water pitchers, transport carts, and keep kitchen and dining spaces clean and organized.

The ideal candidate will have previous relevant experience and the ability to communicate effectively in English with residents, family members, and staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents, family members, and staff, required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwashing machine.
• Deliver clean water pitchers to nursing stations.
• Maintain stock areas neat and orderly daily.
• Transport carts to dining areas.
• Monitor water temperatures and cleaning chemical usage.
• Clean and wash dishes, utensils, trays, pots and pans; store them.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and organized.
• Assist in transportation of residents in emergencies as needed.
