Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees.
• Prepare food according to planned menus and standard recipes.
• Plate items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff and perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and prepared.
• Communicate shortages or outages to supervisor.
• Maintain freshness, proper cooking status, and seasoning of all foods.
• Stock and clean station for next shift.
• Follow proper food rotation policies.
• Maintain a positive team environment and promote good relations with residents, families, and guests.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and adherence to fire/safety plans.
