Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for residents with special dietary needs, supervise staff when needed, and keep a clean, safe kitchen. You will follow approved menus, monitor temperatures, and assist with staff training and adherence to dietary plans.

The role requires experience in dining services, Serv-Safe certification or willingness to obtain, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in dining services.
• Serv-Safe certification required or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Basic understanding of food service operations and duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present menu items according to recipes.
• Supervise dietary staff in absence of Directors.
• Maintain clean, safe kitchen and monitor temperatures.
• Assist in training new dietary employees and attend in-services.
