Job summary

Hawthorn Senior Living is seeking a Dishwasher to prepare, wash and store dishes, help serve meals and clear dishes at residents' tables, following Hawthorn procedures. This universal employee will be cross-trained in other roles as directed by the Community Executive Chef.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean dishwashing area, assisting in bussing and delivery of room trays if needed, setting tables, and supporting the kitchen team to ensure safe, efficient service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• General knowledge of cleaning and sanitation.
• Maintains food handlers permit as necessary to fulfill state or provincial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, wash, and store dishes following Hawthorn Senior Living procedures.
• Assist in bussing, serving, and delivery of room trays if needed.
• Set tables in the dining room and support kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the dining area.
