Absaroka Senior Living Center in Cody, Wyoming is seeking a dependable Dietary Assistant / Kitchen Staff member to support meal prep, service, and dining room operations. You’ll work with the Dietary Director and team to ensure meals are prepared safely, accurately, and on time.

This entry-level role emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and resident-focused service. Previous healthcare experience is welcomed but training is available for motivated learners.

Qualifications

• Experience in dietary services or kitchen operations is preferred but not required.
• Willingness and ability to learn food preparation and dining procedures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Teamwork and professional communication with residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks and dietary staff with food preparation and meal service.
• Prepare basic food items, beverages, snacks, and meal components as assigned.
• Set up resident dining areas and meal service stations before meals.
• Serve meals to residents in a friendly, professional, and respectful manner.
• Follow resident meal instructions, dietary restrictions, and preferences.
• Prepare and deliver resident meal trays as assigned.
• Receive, stock, rotate, and organize food and dietary supplies.
