Absaroka Senior Living Center in Cody, Wyoming is seeking a dependable Dietary Assistant / Kitchen Staff member to support meal preparation, service, and kitchen operations for residents. You will work closely with the Dietary Director and team to ensure meals are prepared and served safely, on time, and with attention to resident preferences.

The role emphasizes maintaining cleanliness, teamwork, and a positive dining experience for residents, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dietary services, food service, restaurants, senior living, healthcare, or kitchen operations preferred but not required
• Willingness and ability to learn food preparation, sanitation, and resident dining procedures
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and food safety
• Dependable attendance and ability to report to scheduled shifts on time
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Positive, respectful, and service-oriented attitude
• Ability to communicate professionally with residents, families, and coworkers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and dining environment

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks and dietary staff with food preparation and meal service
• Set up resident dining areas and meal service stations before scheduled meals
• Serve meals to residents in a friendly, professional, and respectful manner
• Follow resident meal instructions, dietary restrictions, food preferences, and assigned diet information as directed
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, equipment, and food preparation areas
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen and dining environment
