Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Austin, TX is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare meals for residents in our community dining setting. You will join a kitchen team, read recipes, and ensure meals are served safely and on time.

The role requires 1–3 years of cooking experience in hospitality or healthcare, a valid food handlers permit, and the ability to follow menus and logs. We offer paid holidays, PTO, and a benefits package including health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of cooking experience in a hospitality or healthcare environment.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, guides, cleaning schedules and logs.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards.

Responsibilities

• Join the kitchen staff in preparing and cooking food for our residents.
• Build positive relationships with residents, employees and coworkers.
• Understand that dining in the restaurant-style atmosphere can be the highlight of our residents' day.
• Maintain the kitchen in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times.
