Atria Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join our Austin community, delivering meals to residents with attention to quality and safety. You will work with a caring team to prepare menu items and maintain a clean, friendly dining environment for our residents.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years cooking experience in hospitality or healthcare, and a valid food handlers permit where required. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of cooked food experience in hospitality or healthcare environments.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or company standards.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, guides, cleaning schedules and logs.

Responsibilities

• Join the kitchen staff in preparing and cooking food for residents.
• Build positive relationships with residents, employees and coworkers.
• Understand that dining in a restaurant-style atmosphere can be the highlight of residents’ day.
• Maintain the kitchen in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times.
