Atria Senior Living is hiring a Cook to join our kitchen team serving residents in a caring, restaurant-style setting. You will work with staff to prepare meals, build positive relationships with residents and coworkers, and help ensure meals are served in a safe, appealing way.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 years as a cook in hospitality or healthcare, plus a state-required food handler permit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards.

Responsibilities

• Join the kitchen staff in preparing and cooking food for our residents.
• Build positive relationships with residents, employees and coworkers.
• Understand that dining in the restaurant-style atmosphere can be the highlight of our residents’ day.
• Maintain the kitchen in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times.
