Job summary

Lifespark's Valora Orono community in Orono, MN is hiring a Culinary Assistant/Server to join our team and help residents age magnificently. This role involves setting up dining, serving, and assisting in food preparation for residents, families and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
• Must relate professionally and cooperatively with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, distribution and supply of food and dishes to residents, families and staff.
• Set up room trays and tables, serve and bus trays, pour beverages, and assist in preparing and covering food.
• Transport carts and deliver trays; deliver nourishments and snacks as needed.
• Maintain a steady work pace to provide clean kitchen utensils and dishes; wash soiled dishes.
