Job summary

Lifespark is seeking a Cook/Chef for Valora Orono, a Lifespark Senior Living Community in Orono, MN. The role pays $17.50 to $22.50 hourly based on experience and is full-time (1.0 FTE) with the obligation to work every other weekend.

The community offers independent living, assisted living, and memory care in a 72-unit setting. Responsibilities include preparing meals per prescribed diets, ensuring food safety and sanitation, and coordinating with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions and temperature controls.
• Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, floors, dishes and utensils.
• Check trays for menu and diet requirements and accuracy.
• Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
• Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are followed.
