Wallick Senior Living is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide (Server) at Oakleaf Village Columbus to assist with meal preparation, service, and resident care. The role requires 1–2 years of kitchen experience, strong communication, and solid math and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a restaurant or institutional kitchen setting.
• Strong communication skills, able to interact with residents, coworkers and families.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Solid math skills to handle measurements, portioning and basic calculations.
• Able to make routine decisions to support day-to-day department needs.

Responsibilities

• Keep all kitchen equipment and prep/serving areas clean and organized.
• Plan and follow a cooking schedule to ensure meals are ready on time.
• Maintain food quality and safety by checking temperatures and tasting dishes.
• Set up food on steam tables and restock as needed during service.
• Follow portion control guidelines during meal prep and serving.
• Check and properly use leftover perishables to minimize waste.
• Assist with other kitchen duties as needed.
