Job summary

Piper Shores, Maine’s premier nonprofit continuing care retirement community, seeks a per diem Environmental Services team member. The role supports Independent Living, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing with a resident-centered approach.

Shifts are 6:15a-3:15p, offering flexible, per-diem opportunities to contribute to a caring living environment. Responsibilities include housekeeping across apartments, cottages, common areas, and health centers, plus training participation.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping preferred.
• Warm and friendly demeanor with a positive approach to interacting with Seniors.
• Ability to stand and move for extended period of time, ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments, cottages, common areas, assisted living and the health center, such as: vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting cleared flat surfaces.
• Practices safe work habits to prevent injury to self and others.
• Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
