StoneBridge Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping and laundry department in our Missouri community, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with nursing and maintenance, schedule tasks, and uphold safety standards while preparing for state surveys and daily resident care.

Qualifications

• Supervisory/management experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience working in Environmental Services or facilities management in healthcare.
• Friendly attitude and excellent communication skills are required.
• Ability to express ideas clearly in written and oral communication within interdisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Assume the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability of supervising the housekeeping department.
• Assist the director in setting housekeeping standards.
• Schedule work assignments, preparing cleaning schedules, and revise as necessary.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing service when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.
• Schedule department work hours and ensure sufficient personnel to expedite work.
• Ensure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manner.
• Communicate with Maintenance Director regarding state inspections and participate in survey training.
• Attend in-service education programs and apply information to job tasks.
• Monitor workplace safety and fire hazards and report issues promptly.
• Participate in fire and disaster drills and assist in emergencies to ensure resident safety.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
