Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeper to meticulously clean residents' apartments and common areas while following community guidelines. You will support safety and comfort for residents and guests, maintaining high cleanliness standards and a welcoming environment.

The role includes a Sunday–Wednesday, Friday schedule from 7:00am to 3:00pm with an hourly pay rate of $19.00 to $20.00, and a benefits package that supports health, retirement, and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Cleaning & Upkeep: Perform a full range of housekeeping duties, including the cleaning and sanitation of all resident apartments, common areas, and offices, focusing on surfaces, fixtures, windows, floors, and carpets to ensure high cleanliness.
• Dust, fluff, and straighten all furniture in internal and external public areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Follow established work and cleaning schedules as closely as practical.
• Hazard Mitigation & Waste Management: Post caution and safety signs prior to tasks, remove them after completion, and manage trash and waste throughout the shift.
• Safety Protocols & Supply Management: Maintain a safe environment, use PPE, secure storage of supplies, follow SDS guidelines for hazardous materials, and ensure chemicals are locked away.
• Operational Readiness and Workspace Management: Keep work areas attractive, safe, and hazard-free, storing all equipment after tasks.
• Resident Service & Professional Image: Display a positive, professional image, greet residents warmly, and respond to simple requests while reporting needs.
