Job summary

Homewood Living Williamsport is seeking a dedicated part-time housekeeping aide to maintain a clean, orderly and safe living environment for residents across the facility.

The role includes daily cleaning, equipment operation, and assisting with moving resident belongings while protecting privacy and following infection control guidelines. A good hygiene standard and physical endurance are essential; position offers benefits and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow oral and printed instructions.
• High degree of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, twist and turn frequently throughout a shift.
• Ability to push/pull housekeeping carts and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• confidentiality of resident information and privacy maintained.
• Adhere to corporate and department policies and procedures.
• Operate housekeeping equipment safely and maintain it properly.
• Follow Infection Control Program guidelines and Right To Know program.
• Perform daily cleaning (dusting, mopping, disinfecting) in assigned areas.
• Restock supplies in assigned areas.
• Assist in moving resident furniture and belongings as needed.
• Keep furniture neat and areas organized.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
