Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–3 years related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.
• A positive attitude and ability to laugh and have fun while providing excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Cleans all areas as assigned according to the departmental standards, process, and procedures.
• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas according to established standards.
• Make independent decisions and follow instructions.
• Interact tactfully with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Follow written and oral instructions on mixing cleaning compounds and solutions.
• Relate information concerning a resident’s condition as needed.
• Use supplies efficiently and report needs to supervisor.
• Operate buffers, extraction equipment, vacuums and all commercial laundry equipment.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by Housekeeping Lead.
