Job summary

StoryPoint of Chattanooga is seeking a full-time housekeeper to clean residents' apartments and common areas on a rotating schedule, with some weekend shifts.

You will also perform all laundry duties in our commercial facilities, follow established procedures, and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for residents and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Cleans all areas as assigned according to the departmental standards process and procedures
• Maintains clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas as directed according to established standards
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds liquids disinfecting solutions etc
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition
• Uses supplies in an economical and prudent manner; Reports supply and equipment needs to supervisor for replenishing
• Ability to operate buffers extraction equipment vacuums and all commercial laundry equipment
