Job summary

Lakeview Terrace Retirement Community in Altoona, FL is seeking a part-time HCC Housekeeper/Laundry to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents. The role includes cleaning resident rooms, offices and public areas, plus handling laundry with infection-control procedures.

You will follow a formal training program and adhere to safety standards while providing reliable support to residents and staff. This position offers part-time hours and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Lift at least 50 lbs and stand for up to eight hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a sanitary and aesthetically clean environment following state codes.
• Follow the training program for windows, mirrors, glass, doors, walls and metal finishes.
• Perform sanitary maintenance of sinks and bathing facilities.
• Process laundry following infection control and maintain item appearance.
• Monitor quantity and quality of distributed items and resident laundry.
• Maintain safety in work and living areas according to safety standards.
