Job summary

Atria Senior Living’s Glendale community is seeking a diligent Housekeeper to keep resident environments clean and safe. You will service apartments and common areas, and manage laundry tasks as needed to support high standards of living.

Ideal candidates communicate in English, handle cleaning equipment, and work various shifts. Full benefits include holidays, PTO, health/dental/vision, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete all Company specified training programs.
• Able to operate cleaning equipment such as iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc.
• Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff by performing cleaning duties assigned to apartments, interior and exterior common areas and amenities.
• Clean public areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.
• Performs all laundry duties, including washing and drying resident laundry and textiles in provided appliances.
