Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe environments for residents and staff. You will clean apartments and common areas, perform laundry tasks, and ensure supplies are stocked and rooms stay organized.

Candidates should be reliable, able to follow training, and communicate effectively in English with residents and coworkers. This role supports a healthy work-life balance and offers a structured schedule.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete all Company specified training programs.
• Able to operate cleaning equipment such as iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc.
• Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean public areas and residents' apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios, windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.
• Perform all housekeeping duties including laundering, changing beds, cleaning restrooms and restocking supplies.
• Perform all laundry duties: wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens; change bed linens.
• Maintain resident laundry areas and mop floors; check lint traps.
• Wash windows at reasonable heights and keep utility/storage rooms clean and orderly.
• Disinfect and sanitize equipment and supplies; stock the cleaning cart; transport trash to disposal areas.
• Report safety or maintenance issues to Supervisor promptly.
