Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living in Salisbury, MD is seeking an energetic Housekeeper for a per diem role to maintain resident apartments and common areas to the highest standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, windows, floors and furnishings, following a supervisor’s schedule. One year of related experience and ability to operate cleaning equipment are preferred; diverse benefits include paid holidays, flexible scheduling, and an Employee Assistance Program.

Qualifications

• One-year related experience in a similar environment with on-the-job-training preferred
• Able to operate cleaning equipment such as: mangle, iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc. as required
• Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job required

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights
• Cleans public areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas
• Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas
• Performs all housekeeping duties, following a cleaning schedule and instructions as directed by supervisor
• Clean and/or polish all room furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/air conditioning units in resident rooms and all public areas
