Job summary

Integral Senior Living is hiring a Housekeeper to join our care-focused communities in California. You will perform daily cleaning tasks in apartments, common areas, lounges and offices, preserving a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, sanitizing fixtures, handling laundry, and reporting maintenance needs. Prior housekeeping experience and a genuine interest in seniors are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents.
• Must demonstrate interest in working with a senior population.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties according to schedule in assigned areas (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Sweeps, dusts, mops floors; vacuums floors, rugs, carpets and runners.
• Cleans, sanitizes and polishes fixtures; stocks dispensers.
• Scrubs bath/shower room tiles, woodwork, window frames and sills.
• Maintains equipment and materials in a clean condition.
• Collects trash and refuses; handles community laundry.
• Maintains commercial laundry in a clean condition.
• Keeps cleaning chemicals stored securely.
• Ensures cords and equipment do not block exits.
• Reports repairs and supply needs to Lead Housekeeper.
