Job summary

Seaton Senior Living, part of the Discovery Senior Living family, is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in apartments, common areas, and facilities for our senior residents. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and compassionate service within a community designed for everyday comfort and well-being.

Qualifications include a High School diploma (preferred), experience preferred, and the ability to communicate effectively with residents.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and instructions
• Interest in working with a senior population
• Courteous and friendly interactions with guests, residents and staff
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties daily in apartments, common areas, lounges and offices
• Sweeps, dusts, mops, vacuums and maintains clean floors and surfaces
• Cleans and sanitizes lavatories, fixtures and dispensers
• Scrubs tiles, woodwork and frames; keeps equipment clean and orderly
• Maintains laundry areas and helps with community laundry
• Keeps chemicals stored securely and ensures safety
• Reports repairs and supply needs to Lead Housekeeper
• Other duties as assigned
