Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Prior related experience preferred
• Housekeeping duties follow sanitation and safety standards and guidelines
• Report health or safety concerns to management
• Effective English communication with residents and staff
• Meets state requirements as applicable
• Team-oriented and positive attitude
• Maintain confidentiality of business information
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills
• Meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• May assist with disaster management during evacuations
• Follow policies, procedures and standards
• Pass criminal record clearance, health screening and TB clearance if applicable

Responsibilities

• Document and report maintenance issues and safety hazards
• Clean resident apartments and community areas per checklist and schedule
• Submit daily checklists and cleaning logs on time
• Remove trash per procedures
• Deep clean apartments and common areas according to plan
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
• Maintain a safe environment for staff, residents and guests
• Model professionalism and a positive attitude for colleagues
• Attend required training to meet state or provincial regulations
• Assist with laundry management and related duties
