Bethea Retirement Community in Darlington, SC is seeking a reliable Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team on a full-time daytime schedule. You will help create a safe, healthy, and comfortable living space for residents, while staying active and engaged in daily tasks.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, preparing rooms for new admissions, and restocking supplies.

Qualifications

• Reliable with strong attendance and dependability.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 30 lbs and use basic cleaning equipment.
• Friendly personality with compassion for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Resident Space Upkeep: Daily cleaning and sanitizing of resident rooms, bathrooms, living spaces and common areas.
• Deep Cleaning & Disinfection: Follow guidelines to disinfect high-touch surfaces and care areas.
• Unit Turnover Prep: Deep clean and prepare rooms for new admissions.
• Supply & Safety Management: Restock supplies and report maintenance or safety hazards to leadership.
• Resident Hospitality: Interact warmly with residents while respecting privacy and dignity.
