Bethea Retirement Community in Darlington, SC is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to join our Dining Services team full-time. You will help prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents, follow dietary orders, and maintain kitchen cleanliness in a warm, hospitality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or dietary aide experience is a plus, but training is available.
• Basic understanding of food safety and kitchen safety practices.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Friendly demeanor, patience, strong attendance, and a genuine passion for serving older adults.

Responsibilities

• Meal Service & Hospitality: set up dining areas and serve meals to residents promptly and with warmth.
• Food Prep Assistance: prepare beverages, snacks, side dishes, and portion desserts per daily plans.
• Kitchen & Dining Maintenance: clean tables, operate dishwasher, sanitize prep areas.
• Dietary Compliance: follow resident diet cards and texture modifications as ordered.
• Resident Interaction: build friendly, dignified dining experiences.
