Job summary

Portside at Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a compassionate Housekeeper to maintain clean common spaces and resident rooms. The role emphasizes empathy for seniors and adherence to safety and infection control procedures in a welcoming, team-oriented environment.

You will follow established standards, assist with resident comfort, and report changes or hazards to supervision while supporting a positive, family-like community at our senior living campus.

Qualifications

• Possess genuine loving and caring attitude for seniors, ability to relate to residents and staff in a courteous manner.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• High School or GED equivalent preferred.
• Some hospitality or senior community experience helpful but not required.
• Complete employment screenings including criminal background and drug tests.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean all common spaces and resident rooms following procedures.
• Follow established performance standards and safety practices.
• Dust, vacuum, sanitize bathrooms, and restock supplies.
• Identify safety hazards and report to supervisor; participate in infection control.
• Support residents and communicate changes to management as needed.
