Job summary

Dirigo Pines is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean and safe resident areas and common spaces in a senior living community. You will follow established procedures, work as part of a caring team, and ensure a comfortable, hygienic environment for residents.

Responsibilities include cleaning duties, adherence to safety and infection control practices, and clear communication with supervisors about resident changes and maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow established performance standards and procedures for cleaning and safety.
• Dust and clean high-touch surfaces, walls, floors, and fixtures.
• Vacuum, carpet care, and furniture cleaning as directed.
• Sanitize bathrooms, restock supplies, and maintain clean common areas.
• Identify safety hazards and report maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Follow infection control techniques and use chemicals safely.
• Communicate resident changes to supervision and adjust tasks accordingly.
• Support teamwork and assist others as needed.
