Job summary

Morada Senior Living is seeking a dependable cleaner to maintain cleanliness across apartments, common areas and facilities in our Houston community. You will follow schedules, sanitize bathrooms, mop floors, restock supplies and help with laundry tasks to support residents' comfort and safety.

Strong communication and physical stamina are important as you interact with residents and coworkers. Prior housekeeping experience is favored, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions.
• Interest in working with a senior population.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties according to schedule in apartments, common areas, lounges and offices.
• Sweep, dust, mop floors; vacuum carpets and runners; rotate runners as needed.
• Clean, sanitize and polish lavatory fixtures; stock dispensers.
• Scrub tiles, woodwork, window frames and sills.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and materials; collect trash.
• Manage community laundry and keep commercial laundry clean and orderly.
• Ensure chemicals are stored securely; keep exits clear and hazard-free.
• Report repairs and supply needs to Lead Housekeeper.
• Other duties as assigned.
