Job summary

Ivy Park at Pleasanton, part of Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to clean resident apartments, public areas, and handle laundry for residents and the community in a friendly, courteous manner.

Responsibilities include cleaning all areas as directed, maintaining safety, and promoting teamwork. The position runs Sunday to Thursday, 7am to 4pm, with a pay range of $17.80/hr to $18.80/hr and a strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, vacation, and more.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resident apartments, as directed.
• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
