Job summary

Atria Senior Living - Del Rey is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe environments for residents and staff across apartments, interiors and common areas. You will perform cleaning duties, handle laundry tasks, and ensure supplies are stocked while following safety and sanitation standards.

This role requires basic reading, writing and math, English communication, and the ability to work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete all Company specified training programs.
• Able to operate cleaning equipment such as iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc.
• Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean public areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.
• Perform all housekeeping duties including: Distributing laundered articles and linens; Changing beds; Cleaning public restrooms and replenishing supplies.
• Disinfect and sanitize equipment and supplies.
• Stock the cleaning cart with supplies.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal areas; coordinate with maintenance as needed.
