Job summary

Landmark of Lincoln Park (2) is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to clean resident rooms and interior and exterior facility areas under the supervision of the Director of Housekeeping. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for residents and assist in daily housekeeping tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to read and follow written instructions, and the capability to work independently within a schedule.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or sufficient knowledge and education to perform job functions
• Understand and carry out oral and written directions
• Ability to work independently and set priorities
• Must meet health assessment requirements, including Mantoux test
• Must communicate in English, verbally and in writing
• Capable of performing essential functions with or without accommodations

Responsibilities

• Reports to work as scheduled and attends mandatory trainings
• Cleans and sanitizes resident rooms, offices and common areas
• Moves and arranges furniture as directed by supervisor
• Cleans dining areas after meals and adheres to cleaning schedules
• Follows safety rules and uses cleaning chemicals per MSDS guidelines
• Observes Resident Bill of Rights and protects confidentiality
• Demonstrates infection control practices and proper hand hygiene
• Addresses residents respectfully and maintains dignity in care
