Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in O'Fallon, IL is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff, including housekeeping and laundry tasks across the community.

The role reports to Maintenance Director; responsibilities include cleaning, restocking supplies, cooperating with maintenance, and following infection control procedures. Previous housekeeping experience and a high school diploma are preferred; CPR/BLS is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with common digital tools (Outlook, Excel, Word) and electronic health/HR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, laundry).
• Clean according to a schedule for resident areas and common spaces.
• Restock supplies and report repair needs to Supervisor.
• Collaborate with maintenance and staff to ensure a safe, healthy environment.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and PPE usage as required.
