Job summary

Clearwater at The Arboretum in Austin is seeking a Health Services Assistant to join our premier luxury senior living community. You will support the Health Services Director and promote optimal care to help residents stay as independent as possible while maintaining physical and emotional health.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED; LVN license is preferred and one year of related experience is favored.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
LVN license preferred.
Minimum of one year work experience in senior living, hospitality or related field preferred.
First Aid Certification a plus.
Background clearances as required by government regulations.
Must meet health requirements, including TB.

Responsibilities

Assist in the management, scheduling, evaluation, training and directing the Health Services Department.
Under Health Services Director direction, may review, hire, schedule and supervise Health Service team members and assist with new hire orientation.
Ensure safety and health of residents and that physician orders are carried out.
Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
Assist in training and overseeing continuing education of Health Services staff in proper medication delivery and emergency procedures.
