Job summary

Clearwater at The Arboretum in Austin, TX is seeking a part-time Lifestyle Assistant to support residents through planned activities and events, including setup, decorations and surveys of interests. The role emphasizes outstanding customer service, professional appearance and adherence to Clearwater Living standards, with weekends required.

Qualifications include HS diploma or GED, AA preferred, and certifications like First Aid or Health/Fitness preferred, plus ability to drive the community

Qualifications

• Must have ability and willingness to drive the community vehicle.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AA degree preferred or at least two years of related experience.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Health or Fitness Certification preferred.
• Background clearances as required by government regulations.
• Health requirements including TB.

Responsibilities

• Attend and assist in planned activities and events, including setup and tear-down and decorating for holidays or special events.
• Survey residents and make observations to determine what activities are of interest.
• Encourage residents to attend and participate in activities.
• Assist in making flyers, calendars, newsletters and updating social media as needed.
• Assist with Marketing events and coordinating volunteers.
• Schedule transportation or drive community vehicles as needed.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and report issues immediately.
• Maintain Clearwater Living standards and professional appearance and grooming.
• Represent Clearwater Living principles and core values daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The primary purpose of the Lifestyle Assistant is to aid in the execution of the programs and activities that are planned for the residents. The Lifestyle Assistant must possess outstanding customer service skills and display genuine care and concern for our residents while demonstrating the principles and core values that Clearwater Living embraces.

Anticipated Schedule: Part-time / Weekends required

Responsibilities

• Attend and assist in planned activities and special events, to include set-up and tear-down and decorating for holidays or special events
• Assist with surveying residents and making observations and recommendations to determine what activities are of interest
• Encourage residents to attend and participate in activities
• Assist in making flyers, calendars, newsletters and updating social media websites as needed
• Assist with Marketing events
• Work with volunteers such as scheduling, training and organizing day-to-day assignments
• Assist with scheduling transportation or driving vehicles as needed
• Ensure regulatory compliance and report any issues or concerns immediately
• Comply with Clearwater Living standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient community operations
• Display a positive and professional image through actions and maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working
• Represent the Clearwater Living principles and core value on a daily basis
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required

Qualifications

• Ability, licensure and willingness to drive the community vehicle
• High School Diploma or GED
• AA degree preferred or a minimum of two years of work experience in the industry
• First Aid Certification preferred
• Health or Fitness Certification preferred
• Background clearances as required by government regulations
• Must meet health requirements, including TB
