Job summary

Brookdale Akron is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN/LVN) or registered nurse (RN) to manage daily healthcare operations in our senior living community. The role emphasizes respectful, dignified care and ongoing staff training to adapt to residents' changing needs.

You will supervise licensed nursing staff, oversee medication management, participate in on-call coverage, and maintain Brookdale standards.

Qualifications

• Education as required to obtain state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN).
• Minimum 1–2 years relevant nursing experience.
• LPN or LVN license required.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day healthcare operations to meet residents' needs.
• Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity and that care quality is maintained.
• Oversees nursing staff, medication technicians and Caregivers; provides ongoing training.
• Coordinates schedules and participates in on-call duties as required.
• Supports medication training and compliance with Brookdale guidelines.
