Job summary

Ovation seeks a Senior Chef to oversee culinary operations across independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities. You will plan menus, lead staff, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance to deliver nutritious, engaging meals tailored to dietary needs.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in culinary management, a culinary degree or equivalent, and ServSafe Manager certification; CDM/CFPP is preferred. Varies schedule; full-time at Ovation Sienna Hills, WA state location.

Qualifications

• Must have culinary leadership experience in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of dietary guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage menus, staff, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Create rotating, seasonal menus for senior living facilities.
• Ensure meals meet dietary guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor culinary staff.
• Lead food committees and resident council meetings for feedback.
• Manage food costs, ordering, inventory, and waste.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, storage, and equipment per ServSafe codes.
• Possess 3-5 years of culinary management experience.
• Hold a culinary degree or equivalent experience; ServSafe Manager certified; CDM/CFPP preferred.
• Maintain CPR/BLS active during employment.
