Job summary

Oak Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Grounds Worker II to maintain all exterior areas for a vibrant retirement community in Parkville, MD. You will care for lawns, trees, gardens and shrubs, and support residents with gardening tasks while ensuring safe, welcoming surroundings.

Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 hourly, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k) with match, and on-site wellness options.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of landscaping or grounds experience.
• Valid driver's license is required if operating Community vehicles.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, trees, gardens and shrubbery.
• Uptake of exterior areas including trash removal, weeding, pet stations and fencing.
• Installation and maintenance of exterior signs.
• Assist residents with gardening.
• Assist in snow removal of the community.
• Assist in the maintenance of all associated equipment.
• Identify horticultural problems and provide treatment recommendations.
