Job summary

Ridgecrest Retirement and Healthcare Community in Waco, TX, is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The role involves routine cleaning and sanitation across the facility in line with federal, state, and facility guidelines.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, disinfecting restrooms, replenishing supplies, and assisting with room preparations for new admissions and transfers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, and common areas daily.
• Dust, mop, sweep, vacuum, and polish floors and furniture.
• Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, showers, tubs, and other restroom fixtures.
• Replenish paper products, soap, and other housekeeping supplies.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety regulations.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Assist with room preparation for new admissions and resident transfers.
• Respond promptly to spills and emergency cleaning situations.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Participate in facility training programs and staff meetings.
