Job summary

Touchmark on West Century in Bismarck/Mandan invites applications for a Fitness Professional to enrich residents' lives by leading group classes, conducting assessments, and developing personalized programs aligned with care plans.

You will monitor safety, instruct residents in equipment use, and collaborate with a team of like-minded fitness professionals to deliver 5-star hospitality and supportive aging-focused fitness services.

Qualifications

• Current certification through a nationally accredited organization (ACSM/NSCA/NASM/ACE) is required.
• Four-year college degree in an exercise science-related discipline.
• Experience instructing group exercise classes.
• Experience with aging adults and retirement community settings is a plus.
• Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead group fitness classes to improve strength, balance, and flexibility.
• Conduct fitness consultations and develop individualized programs.
• Monitor resident safety and adapt plans to care guidelines.
• Assist residents in the safe use of weight machines and equipment.
