Touchmark on West Century in Bismarck, ND, seeks a Personal Trainer/Fitness Professional to guide residents toward personal fitness goals within a warm, five-star hospitality environment. You will assess, plan, and supervise individualized programs, lead group classes, and uphold safety and care standards.

The ideal candidate brings current national certification, a degree in exercise science, and a passion for working with adults 40+.

Qualifications

• Current certification through a nationally accredited organization (ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE) is required.
• A four-year college degree in an exercise science-related discipline.
• Genuine interest in working with adults (age 40+) to help them achieve fitness goals.
• Experience instructing group exercise classes in the format of their certification.
• Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead group fitness classes to improve strength, balance and flexibility.
• Conduct fitness consultations and assessments with residents.
• Develop individualized fitness programs aligned with each resident’s care plan.
• Assist, monitor, and instruct residents in safe use of equipment and machines.
• Ensure resident safety and provide 5-star hospitality and care.

We are currently seeking the right person to join our health and fitness team as a Personal Trainer/Fitness Professional.

As a Fitness Professional, you will enrich lives each day by assisting, monitoring, and instructing residents in the safe and effective use of equipment and weight machines in order to meet their personal fitness goals and needs. You will conduct fitness consultations and assessments as well as develop individualized fitness programs that ensure resident safety, while following each resident's care plan. You will lead group fitness classes with the goal of strengthening muscles, increasing balance, and improving flexibility.
