Job summary

Bethel Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support routine facility upkeep and safety. You will perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks while helping maintain grounds and respond to resident needs.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred vocational maintenance training and healthcare maintenance experience. A collaborative team environment and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational maintenance training or certification preferred.
• Healthcare/facility maintenance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.
• Inspect and service facility equipment for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain exterior grounds and perform snow removal as needed.
• Keep inventory of tools and supplies; report needs to supervisor.
• Collaborate with nursing, housekeeping and admin to address maintenance requests.
