Job summary

Platinum Communities in the United States seeks an Executive Director to lead an assisted living community, ensuring exceptional care, safety, and compliance while delivering a resident-centered, high-quality experience.

This role directs daily operations, budgeting, occupancy and staff development; collaborates with healthcare providers and families; and champions compassionate leadership, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 2+ years’ experience in senior living, healthcare, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of assisted living regulations and healthcare management.
• Experience with DHS 83 and DHS 89 preferred.
• Licensed or certified as an assisted living administrator (as required by state law), preferred.
• Ability to read, speak and write in English.
• Flexible and available to work beyond regularly scheduled hours, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the facility.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring high service standards and resident satisfaction.
• Mentor department heads and staff to foster collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies.
• Promote a culture of respect, inclusivity, and excellence in resident care.
• Ensure highest level of care, safety, and well-being for residents.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to monitor care plans.
• Conduct regular resident and family meetings to address concerns.
• Promote resident-focused environment improving dignity and quality of life.
• Develop and manage the facility budget and financial targets.
• Monitor financial performance and control expenses.
• Oversee occupancy and drive admissions and retention with marketing.
• Maintain safety protocols and emergency preparedness.
• Represent the facility to residents, families, staff, and the broader community.
• Build relationships with residents, families, providers, and community organizations.
