Prime Independent Living is seeking an experienced Executive Director to provide leadership, vision, and operational excellence for Prime Carolina Coast. This role shapes culture, builds high-performing teams, and creates exceptional experiences for residents and families in a hospitality-driven community.

You will oversee daily operations, grow occupancy with Sales & Marketing, manage budgets, ensure compliance, and serve as the community’s face in the local market.

Qualifications

• Executive Director or senior leadership experience in senior living, hospitality, healthcare, or related field.
• Proven success leading teams and driving operational performance.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and performance metrics.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Passion for hospitality, service excellence, and creating meaningful resident experiences.
• Ability to inspire, coach, and develop team members.
• Flexible, adaptable, and solutions-oriented leadership style.
• Successful completion of background screening and drug testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and operational oversight of the community.
• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team aligned with Prime's culture and standards.
• Ensure excellence in daily operations, resident satisfaction, and service delivery.
• Foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture that supports team engagement and success.
• Partner closely with Sales & Marketing to drive occupancy and achieve community goals.
• Support outreach, events, and community engagement efforts that build awareness and demand.
• Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to ensure continued success.
• Help create a community experience that residents are excited to share with others.
• Manage budgets, expenses, and overall financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor performance and implement strategies that support both resident satisfaction and business objectives.
• Serve as the face of the community within the local market.
• Build relationships with community partners, referral sources, and local organizations.
• Uphold and strengthen Prime's reputation for exceptional service and resident experiences.
• Support marketing initiatives, community events, and public relations efforts.
