Belmont Village Senior Living in Florida seeks an Activity Enrichment Leader to guide small-group fitness, art, music, learning, and enrichment programs for cognitively impaired seniors. You’ll engage diverse personalities, adapt instruction, and foster enjoyable learning experiences.

The role emphasizes teaching, lesson planning, and leading groups using our therapeutic Whole Brain Fitness approach. A stable schedule and growth opportunities are offered.

Formación

• Associates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Education or related field. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months leading group activities with a special needs population.
• Ability to work the defined schedule which may include weekends.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Professional, pleasant, adaptable with a team-oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees.

Responsabilidades

• Leading and teaching small groups of cognitively impaired seniors using Whole Brain Fitness programs.
• Preparing materials and conducting relevant research to confidently lead memory enrichment activities.
• Assisting with cognitive assessments, tracking resident participation, and maintaining documentation.
