Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking an Activity Enrichment Leader to guide small-group fitness, art, music, learning, and enrichment programs for cognitively impaired older adults. You will engage diverse personalities, adapt instruction, and foster enjoyable learning experiences in a collaborative senior living setting.

Responsibilities include leading memory enrichment activities, preparing materials, and tracking resident participation while ensuring documentation compliance.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Education or related field.
• Minimum 6 months leading group activities with a special needs population.
• Ability to work the defined schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and teach small groups of cognitively impaired seniors using Whole Brain Fitness programs.
• Prepare materials and conduct research to confidently lead engaging memory enrichment activities.
• Assist with Cognitive Assessments, tracking and trending of resident participation and maintaining compliance related documentation.
