Job summary

Atria Senior Living seeks an Activities Coordinator to lead Engage Life programs and provide engaging recreational activities for residents. You will inform residents about upcoming events, help coordinate parties, and assist with community activities to promote social interaction.

The role includes planning monthly events, welcoming new residents, and supporting census initiatives. Some driving may be required, and a GED or high school diploma is accepted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• 3–6 months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information clearly to individuals and groups.

Responsibilities

• Leads Engage Life programs to enhance residents' lives.
• Offers diversified recreational activities with supervision.
• Develops programs for residents, including those confined to rooms.
• Informs residents of upcoming activities and maintains a current events schedule.
• Greets new residents and fosters social connections across backgrounds.
• Plans parties/activities and decorates the community seasonally.
• Supports census-building initiatives and volunteer enlistment.
• May drive community vehicle if required.
